The Federal Trade Commission issued a final consent order regarding the acquisition by Hertz of fellow rental car company Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group. Hertz Global Holdings acquired Dollar Thrifty for $2.3 billion in November under an interim agreement and consent order. Billionaire investor Carl Icahn plans to seek a higher price for his Dell shares in court and urged other investors to do the same, in an effort to block Dell Inc founder Michael Dell's $24.4 billion buyout offer ahead of a key shareholder meeting. Then there were two. CNBC reported that a partnership between Guggenheim Digital Media and KKR (KKR) had pulled out of the bidding war for subscription video streaming service Hulu. Guggenheim's departure leaves DirecTV (DTV) and a partnership between AT&T (T) and Peter Chernin as the last two bidders for all of Hulu.
