Syrian rebel groups stormed a border crossing with the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights on August 27. According to news reports from <a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/08/30/us-syria-crisis-philippines-idUSKBN0GU07I20140830" target="_blank">Reuters</a>, fighting continued in the area on August 30, with fighters surrounding Filipino UN peacekeepers in the Golan Heights. The President of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto and his wife, Angélica Rivera, met Queen Elizabeth II, her husband the Duke of Edinburgh, and UK Prime Minister David Cameron on March 3, officially beginning a three-day state visit to the United Kingdom. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) reports that every day, hundreds of kidnapped women and girls in Iraq and Syria suffer violence and abuse at the hands of militants. According to the organization, those who escape, or are released, often have no home or family to return to.In this footage three women recount the violence and abuse they suffered at the hands of militants. The first clip documents the story of Yazidi mother Naseema and her son. The UN notes that they were released after months in captivity but her husband, daughters and other sons are still missing. Relatives of the victims of the MH17 crash were allowed to visit the plane’s wreckage on March 3, <a href="http://www.dutchnews.nl/news/archives/2015/03/mh17-relatives-view-plane-wreckage/" target="_blank">according to Dutchnews.nl</a>.
