UofL student struck, killed while walking on interstate

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A University of Louisville Student is dead after police say a car struck him while he was walking down I-65 early Saturday morning. "Exactly why he was in the roadway has yet to be determined," says Alicia Smiley with LMPD. According to officials at the university, Murphy was a transfer student who was studying business. "It's a very sad day for the university. It's always sad when you lose a family member. Our hearts go out to his family and his friends," says U of L spokesma
