THE WHOLE FASHION WORLD NEEDS A MAKE OVER NOTHING APPEALLING FOR MEN OR WOMEN

I remember a year in the early 2000's, when fashion was just as ugly as was shown and the stores couldn't mark down low enough and still women wouldn't buy!
Plus size in tights and short skirts? How does one sit and keep vital parts covered? No wonder women rave about my garments and want to know where I buy - hint - I know how to use a sewing machine...

I wish I could use my sewing machine! there's no one who understands our body than ourselves. good for you.

it's a tad insulting that with the "bigger" women the look was always minimized....like a collar of fur vs. a whole coat and a leather vest vs. jacket....kind of sad.

All of the outfits were ugly as sin. I think with the fur thing, it is because puffy fur adds so much bulk that many larger women wouldn't want to add all over their top. However, in the leather I would have liked to see slim cut leather pants on the bigger lady instead of that vest, and the vest should have been very fitted on the tiny/petite woman. Once again, The Thread's stylist is smoking crack.

What happened to the shoe fashions? The platform 6-8 inch heals look awful. They look like a large clump of goo stuck on the bottom of the foot. High fashion foot wear should make the feet look light and airy, not like your stuck in the oily goop. yuck! I haven't see a good pair of shoes in a long time.
      • FANCIE 3 months ago
Jemezblue couldn't agree more. Haven't seen a pair of pretty shoes in years.
I love shoes and it is difficult to find one that doesn't make you look like a
hot mess. Of course, I can't afford to pay $500.00 or more for a pair and
        certainly wouldn't for the uglies.............

I would never wear ANY of these outfits. Are you out of your mind?????

If these are new styles then I'm sticking with the old stuff but why do I think I've seen all this crap before? Nothing new to see here.

I'm a guy and I think all the women looked good. Don't know what the hell everyone else is talking about. It's not like they were all showing their boobs or massive cleavage, or wearing micro mini skirts, OR the opposite, dressing too conservatively. They looked like plenty of women I've seen in the past week or so in all sorts of places. People are too harsh on one another... lighten up. Smile a little. OR... die of a heart attack or stroke, stress induced.

ONE question. Does NYC have some of the best fashion in the world? If you answer yes. I suggest you take these ladies shopping.

The outfits look like women were made to fit clothe instead of clothes made for women.

excuse me, the women who have more curves than the average woman - do you really think they should be showing so much leg? Keep your knees covered, I think that looks a lot better. For the record, I am one of the size 10-14 women, I keep my knees covered and do not squeeze my figure into tight trousers - and get many compliments for my clothes and style.

Number 3 is perfect !!!! The average woman in the USA is a size 14.
    • Denise  •  Auburn, California  •  3 months ago
Now select a plus size woman who is NOT at least 5'7" or taller... A taller model no matter what size always looks thinner that someone like those of us plus size & 5'5".

Those leggings looked terrible on the smallest girl.... and I feel like the smallest girl is never as small as me so it's not even helpful. I am 5'4, 111 lbs... small boobs which makes it hard to find clothes that make me look my actual age... early 20s and not 15 or like I am wearing my moms clothes!
