I just take a pic on my cell phone of the ingredients and the recipe and take it shopping when I want to give something a try. If I like it, I write it down. If I don't, I delete it. Everyone should have a crockpot, just like everyone should have a stove. It's as easy as it gets.

Looks good but the video shows a jar of oragano next to the cumin. Oregano is not listed in the ingredients???? Is it used or not?

I use the crock pot to rise my homemade bread.

If they suggest using kale, it should be in the recipe, even if it is listed as 'optional'. I like the idea from Danielle P about taking a photo of it. I use my Ipad2 so the pic is bigger.

I've been using a crockpot since I was like 19 - a decade later it's still helping make my to-do list a little easier by managing dinner. I have a relative that is a lot like her, so I'm not bothered by Miss Judy Greer, but I do agree there needs to be less videos & more articles to read. I've found sometimes videos can be helpful, but they should not be the mainstream of information. Reading is so much more helpful because you can go at your own pace, go over it again if you want and you can read anywhere without bothering others. I agree - more articles, less videos. :)

Crock pots are great for a lot of things.

Recipe looks good. to all who "watch" her videos, watch her and you know shes acting goofy and knows her lines are goofy, but gets paid for it. Shes peppy and fun to watch, to all you haters, go to the library and get a cookbook to read and shut your computer off.

judy greer is the new ex wife on two and a half men, and she was also on one of the now cancelled abc comedy shows. she really is a good actress... just think... getting paid for this...
and free food??? some people just won't use crockpots... yet they claim they have no time to make dinner.......and ..thats what cookbooks are for. .... add salad and bread always a good dinner couldn't be easier.

try a pressure cooker..it's easier & faster

one crockpot is not enough-I have one qt. sized one to do meals for myself since I live alone and the slow cooker I have used for over 15 years to make meals to share.Makes the BEST soups and potroast. Can also make desserts in the big one.
