Suspected gunmen lead police on chase in south Houston

HOUSTON - Five suspects believed to be armed are accused of leading police on a wild chase early Friday morning in south Houston. The chase started after someone reported hearing gun shots on Holly Hall Street, just east of of the Reliant Astrodome. After a brief chase, the suspects stopped their white Dodge pickup truck on Pawnee at Ardmore Street and bailed from the vehicle. They were spotted running east across Highway 288. At least two of the suspects, both men, were later taken into custody. As of 5 a.
