ST. JOHN PARISH, La. - St. John Parish will get a visit from President Barack Obama as he tours the storm-damaged region.
President Obama will see the waters are beginning to subside so that crews can access flooded neighborhoods in St. John Parish as the long road to recovery begins in the river parish.
"The first message is going to be, we need a levee," said Natalie Robottom, St. John Parish president. "Levee protection has worked for Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard and St. Charles Parish. St. John Pari
