Brazilian Truck Drivers Protest Fuel Prices in Rio Grande Do Sul

Ongoing truck strikes in Brazil continued to cause trouble in several states on Monday, March 2. Trucker drivers have been striking for several days in protest of rising fuel prices. The strikes have blocked major roads across the country and have caused problems with fuel delivery, affecting the country’s soybean harvest. Food exports have also been negatively affected.
