Military hero's ashes scattered sky-high above San Marcos

SAN MARCOS -- A team of skydivers took to the air this weekend to remember a war hero and friend by scattering his ashes high above San Marcos.
Lt. Col. Ed Miller died in June after a long battle with cancer. He was 72.
Miller was a jumper for the Marine Corp, proudly serving in Vietnam, Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He even won a gold medal for Team USA in the world skydiving championships.
On Sunday, his former teammates gave him one of a kind salute.
