The board of Vodafone would seriously consider any offer for its 45 percent stake in Verizon Wireless if it offered more value to investors than the current status quo. Vodafone's US partner, Verizon Communications, has made little secret of its desire to buy out Vodafone in a deal that would have a possible price tag of around $120 billion. As Starbucks pushes into the "health and wellness" category and as Danone, owner of the Dannon brand, seeks to conquer the U.S. market, the two have agreed to sell a co-branded yogurt through Starbucks cafes as yogurt makers battle for dominance in the U.S. market. Fiat-Chrysler's CEO Sergio Marchionne said the carmaker could be registered in the Netherlands after a planned merger. A base in the Netherlands could be advantageous in the event Fiat-Chrysler opts for the United States as its primary listing, since corporate rules in the Netherlands are similar to those in the U.S.
