After Italian authorities refused to share any documents with visiting team of CBI concerning the kickbacks allegation in the chopper deal, external affairs minister, Salman Khurshid today said that India must respect the laws of other nations and follow the diplomatic protocol. Speaking to media persons in New Delhi, Khurshid said that India had maintained the same stance with Italy during the court proceedings against the two Italian marines, charged with killing two Indian fishermen, confusing them with pirates. Meanwhile, talking about the political crisis in Maldives, after the former Maldives President Mohamed Nasheed, sought refuge at the Indian High Commission in Male fearing arrest, Khurshid said that a team has been sent to Maldives and only after they submit a report, the government can take a decision.
