IDC Predicts That Tablet Unit Sales Will Slow To Single Digits By 2017

IDC published its latest tablet projections through 2017 and it believes that the tablet market will grow 53.5% in 2013 to 221.3 million units. It is estimating that tablet growth will ratchet down to 22.2% next year to 270.5 million systems and by 2017 when it reaches 386.3 million units that the growth rate will be in the single digits.
