HOUSTON - Wednesday will be humid and the heat index will be high, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist Gene Norman said. The morning will begin with lows in the mid-to-upper 70s. "In the afternoon, pretty hot and steamy, just a 20-percent chance for a stray shower, otherwise with highs in the mid-90s, the heat index climbs between 102 and 108.
