      Pea soup isn't really my thing, and adding mint to it sounds terrible.

        Nonsense! This is fresh pea soup, nothing to do with split pea soup, which is great but totally different. Just run the blender long enough to make it smoother if you like it better that way.

      While I didn't like the video too much, I do enjoy getting tips on how to make meals that are easy. You see I am a beginner and only started cooking last year when my girlfriend got me this hilarious beginners cookbook for Xmas.. I won't tell you the name of it here cause some of you will freak out on me.. it was a bit off color, but if you have a good sense of humor and don't get put-off that easily.. google "whipped and beaten culinary works" to find it... but seriously, don't go unless you can take a good joke..

      actually i think the woman in this video is an actress. i have seen her play minor roles in several movies like 27 dresses. however, she does seem to be slighty dim-witted in this video.
