      I dont know anything about wine or I havent ever cooked with it. is thier a special kind of wine for cooking or just any red wine I find at the store will do.

        You're gonna cook most of the alcohol out, so use the cheaper stuff to cook with.

        Duhh, several things. Cooking with wine is NOT about the alcohol, it's the flavor. So, if you can't stand the taste of the wine, like if it turned to vinegar, don't use it in the food,unless you are looking for wine vinegar for salad dressing.

      This is an awesome recipe. I added spinach at the end and slightly wilted it. It was amazing. I also added arugula another time which gave it a little more "smokey" flavor. Delicious!

      who tried this recipe? I'm dying to find out if anyone liked it. I see only one person actually tried cooking it and didn't like it. I'm going to try making it, but I might use a white wine instead, I didn't like the looks of red pasta.

        white wine? I doubt it will bring in so much of spicy flavor as a red wine, if it can add anything at all. I think the secret of satisfaction from so little contents comes from the enriched spaghetti (aka. drunken spaghetti)
