To all those who scoff & ridicule Nick for following through with his idea. He produced something he wanted. something to enhance what he loved to do. He didn't just sit there #$%$ & moaning. He got up, off his #$%$ & actually did something about it. "Necessity is the mother of invention" #$%$ ~ And while I'm at it, what the hell ya'll crying about this for? You with your multimillion dollar businesses?????

The video states that he made the straps but who made the cameras? I thought the go pro were produced by sony.

I have one and powere paraglide and dive with it. I ran into a small problem at 100' down with the case coming loose and wrote them. Within 4 days, I had a new case. Friggin awesome.

I bought one of these early on and enjoyed it when I had the time to set it up. Changiing the settings is tough because I have a hard time making out the icons on the lcd screen. I've quit using it because changing from single stills to multiple stills to video was just too problematic. Great idea but the execution could be improved a fair bit.

Where EVERYONE needs a cam is one pointed at the FRONT of their cars! This way you can record everything that happens to your car or the cars in front of you! It just needs a few buttons to make possible to save so much of the recorded data and it continously overwrites data it doesn't need to keep. This idea just is ONE that came to me months ago, but this nut did it for his surfboard and beat me to the punch! No need to keep the dashcam waterproof! *grin*

You'll lose out on a lot of money by overestimating the average american consumer's intelligence and underestimating their laziness.

That captures great video, but nanotech will make this obsolete when cameras will be stitched into clothing or can be put anywhere and powered by sun or motion. BTW, this story is lacking all the KEY details. So all he did was manufacture straps? Who makes the camera and where did it come from? Does he import the small camera from Japan and just add the straps, casing, etc. How long does the battery last in one?

As long as it's innovative and provides jobs, look for the next big thang guy and keep improving.

I thought of making water tight cases for cameras so they can be used in water, rain so forth . Maybe I should.

Anyone who thinks they can just tape a phone or a regular camera to something and get the same versatility and results, go ahead and try it. If you don't break your phone/camera in the process, compare your video to a GoPro video, and you will then know there's a huge difference. No offense, but you don't know what you're talking about.
